HI, I'M MADDIE!

Home: Birmingham, AL with my amazing husband and son.

Education: Bachelor of Science in Physical Activities and Fitness Studies from Linfield College;

Master of Science in Biomechanics from Auburn University

Certifications: Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)

Experience: General Population training in both 1-on-1 and group based settings for over 9 years;

Sports Performance Coach at Stanford University for one year;

Sports Performance Coach at Auburn University for 2 years.

Fun Fact: One of my greatest life goals is to be on the show Survivor. Y'all will see me on there someday!

My personal history with illness and health issues have driven me to make healthier decisions in my life and inspired me to provide people with workouts that will challenge them wherever they are with whatever is available to them so they see real results and positively change their lifestyle. 

My passion in life is to improve people's health specifically in female athletes through sport performance training. I have a strong interest in the mental aspect of wellness and creating life-long habits that will benefit females for the rest of their life in the gym and in their everyday life. 

The strongest determinant in my life is my faith. I have always felt a strong pull to the realm of health and fitness; that coupled with my love for athletics and exercise has prompted me to begin a blog for women (and any gentlemen interested in their wellness, too!) to speak on the importance of health within faith.
